  • Hello GuitarMasterFriends! I'm so happy to introduce you to my favorite lesson. :D This is my arrangement of the famous Pachelbel's Canon but as the title says that's not the typical Canon Rock version... this is the CANON PROG!

Well, I wish you enjoy this song so come on friends, take a look at the different videos.

    About odd time signatures:
If you take a look at the tab you'll see lot of different compasses, so first of all try to follow the song by counting the compasses.

    The main pattern is 7/8 + 7/8 + 7/8 and a 11/8. But you can count it like this: 123 1234 - 123 1234 - 123 1234 - 123 - 1234 - 1234

    Techniques involved in this lesson:
Legato, vibrato, sweep picking, timing, tremolo bar techniques, natural pinch and taped arpeggios, trills, etc.
