  • Hi GMC, I wrote this lesson after a request from our member sam47. It's been a real pleasure for me to record this one. Chuck Berry is one of the pioneers of rock'n'roll and a great influence for the electric guitar. I'm quite sure all of you have seen the movie "Back to the future" with Micheal J. Fox :D

So, this is my little tribute to the great Mr. Berry.

This solo uses the minor pentatonic/blues scale and some added notes. You can find five backing tracks with different tempo.

I used my Washburn Idol WI67Pro and the Korg Pandora PX4D.

    Settings:

    Dyna: HUM>SGL 3.7
    Amp: US HI-G - Gain 3.3 - Bass 5.0 - Treble 6.3 - Middle 5.3
    Cab: JAZ 1x15 - Value 10.0
    Rev: PLATE1 - Value 3.3
    NR: Value 8.3

    Key: A major
    Time signature: 4/4
    Tempo: 170 bpm

    Enjoy!
