great lesson, and great patterns Good luck my friend !!!
I notice during video 1, you do strict alternate picking, but in video 3 when you are doing it slow you do economy or slow sweeping I guess down the strings. Which one is best for these types of runs?
Great Video Awesome Lesson!!
Hi David, thanks for this great lesson.
Legato and sweeping are awesame.
Very nice major scale shredding!
One question: Is the B Phrygian scale correct? I don't recognize that pattern in the major scale.
hey David!!!Cool Lesson...Thanks!!!
This is a nice one on shredding!
Major just has that kind of... bright sound, if you know what I mean?
Love it!
good ideas and suggestions exellent explanation!
In the first section, as the run does back down the strings, my fingers wants to use my middle finger on the G, D and A strings. But David is using his ring finger. Probably a schoolboy question, but should it definitely be David's way and I'm in a bad habit. Or can it be played either way? Thanks!!
Hey EvsT70! It's a matter of Your choice. Personally I do use the middle finger in such a situation as well, and I'm used to do this for years. But...If You are able to make yourself switch the habbits, then You'll find that doing this with ring finger is a bit more comfortable when You play standing with strap on.
Hey EvsT Darius hit the spot with this one, so thank you for the comment and let us know how it goes and which way feels easier for you.
