  • Hi GMC! In this lesson we working with the minor pentatonic harmonized with triads like we did in the other lesson.

The minor pentatonic scale is composing by 5 notes: The fundamental, minor third, just fourth, just fifth and minor seventh.

We study the different boxes of the minor pentatonic scale. First start in the fifth string of the guitar in note C, then we plays Eb, F in the fourth string G harmonize with notes of the arpeggio, Bb , C in third string harmonize with notes of the triads too, Eb harmonize too, F, G harmonize and Bb. This is one of the boxes that we will study.

Now we start in sixth string and we play the scale in order and then we have to harmonize the notes of the arpeggio. Then we start in fourth string, and then in fifth string follow the same process like in the beginning.

Remember we must harmonize the notes of the arpeggio, I mean the notes of the chord.

    I hope you enjoy it!
