nice one!!.....wat kind of guitar is that?
Good lesson ,what kind of humucker do you have at the neck?
cool lesson, i was wondering when you would make another one!
Awesome lesson, you got a very heavy sound and with just drop d, thats amazing, great stuff, great riffs and solo's.
Hey glad you enjoy it guys!
The guitar I'm using is an OLP version of the Petrucci musicman model. It has the stock pickups installed still. AWESOME guitar and price for the value.
pfff..this is gonna be a really hard 1..and not cus the 2nd vid..my troubles will be the first 1 ILL GET IT THOUGH
Hey man you [email protected]#$%^& kick ASS dude Im really into the heavy im a sucker for palm mutes like that and really realy fast picking, and what shocks me is the notes seem realy simple when you SLOW it down, anyways great F'n job man keep it up
freakin awesome man!! I gotta go practice this like crazy. Talk about motivation to get my speedpicking going. I want MORE!!
wow whats your metal effect?
I use Line 6's Guitarport. With the "insane" cabinet...and lots of gain! Seriously, guitarports and PODxts are awesome.
Another thing as far as effects in the riff. I don't know if you noticed already, but I switched the pickup right before I played the higher part. With leads I usually use the neck pickup, and riffs usually the bridge pickup.
Thats a beast freakin' lesson
i love this lesson...the whole riff is awsome
you really should put up a lesson on pending closer. That song is Insane.
pending closure...bad spelling
you rock dude id like to hear more from you every lesson is killer
sean your playin sounds like a frikkin machine gun with unlimited ammo.... The most surprising but is that you make open notes sound like something never heard before.... HOW ON EARTH DO GET THAT AWESOME SOUND
What do the 3's mean over the zero in the 1st video lesson
Guys, thanks so much!
Jammer91, thanks for the compliments bro! Those "3"s represent triplet notes.
Amazing riff, I must say
The main problem that I'm running into is the second part.
for some reason my pinky finger keeps wanting to shoot straight out instead of staying close to the fret board x.x
But great lesson :]
wow 0.0 that was sick great lesson
Yeah!! that last part was just like the beginning of ALICE IN HELL by Annihilator:D
Great Lesson by the way!
I forgot.. ALMOST like.. hehehe;)
nice rhytm exercise Sean!
MAN THIS IS BAD ASS!
Sweet riffs !
