DOBRIJ DAN MURIS
I AM A NEW MEMBER FROM BELGIUM
- I HAVE A LOT OF TIME NOW TO LEARN THE THINGS WHAT I WANT TO PLAY SINCE 40 YEARS
(Iam 61 and I stopped to play 1970
...)
CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME WHAT DO THE SYMBOLS |--3--|, |-3-|, etc. ABOVE THE TABS MEAN??
Dobar Dan to you as well!!!!!!!
Glad you've picked guitar again,it's never late
Those symbols mean that notes are in triplets,so it's related to rhythm and timing.
To more info on it I suggest you to check out Andrew's theory lessons,HERE
Wow!
How did I miss this? This is awesome bro, great feeling!
Thanks mate,it's an honor to hear it from you!!
The backing tracks aren't working for me I was so ready to jam along with it
Oh sorry, they work just fine my bad... and as always an excellent lesson although I probably mentioned that in the earlier comments, but who cares right cause this is so cool
Thanks
Perfekt, I also hear some Lukather here You are a great player. I really like all of your work here. Please keep it up and of course all the other teachers here are great also. This site is a blast.
Thanks for the input, will do my best!!
Wonderful lesson(as usual). I love your sound, what amp do you use ? What settings (bass, mid, treb,reverb...) ? And which effects ? I will really appreciate if you answer, thanks.
No amp, just Pandora PX4D into audio card.
More info on unit HERE
Wow, nice one Muris - you make me feel like burning my guitar. (Is that a good thing??).
As I am finding it very hard work to get the hang of these riffs, which can only mean that I have at last found something challenging. It has made me realize that I have spent a lot of time going over the same old stuff, while not really progressing.
Anyway, I am now improving slowly but surely.
Thanks again for an excellent lesson.
Ray
You're welcome Ray,glad you like it.
You pointed it well, playing stuff you know already is cool, you enjoy it and you're sure with it.
But keeps you in place,no progress as you said.
As always, cure is to listen/watch a player you admire,
feel the boost, set up your goals and go for it.
hi again just great fingers now sore you will make me the player i always wanted be i look for all your lessons your the best
Glad you've found it helpful Allan, cheers.
can you give me a run down on the tabed letters like L and a few uncommon ones please ty
L means tied note,extended duration,nothing else.
If you listen to what I play and understand bars and beast,
you'll understand L in a sec.
Let me know if you need anything else tho.
Man, this is really awesome. Every time I listen to it, a smile appears on my face.
Cool!
It sound like Gary Moore!
Many thanks guys!!
Nice tune! Lot of "feeling"...
