  • Hello all GMC guitarists!

Ok, time for some "neoclassical blues" :)
This is a very silly sounding song that I wrote, but I think this type of playing is really fun! and it's more tricky to play than it might appear. The pitch has to be close to perfect most of the time, and that's quite a challenge. It's is very important to practise that kind of stuff. And as in all my lessons the keyword is "listen".

Anyways, the basic chords are the same as in the standard blues: E, A, B, but I also added F7, A#7 C7 (which isn't really anything new, but it adds a somewhat lazy and cool feeling to it).

If you want to make your own solo to the backing track, the pentatonic blues scale in the key of E works fine all over it.

I tuned down all strings 1/2 step. Sorry for any inconvenience, though this will be the last lesson that is tuned down so after this I'll change to the standard/normal tuning.

Oh... one more thing! This lesson comes with Guitar Pro5 tabs :)
