In the words of the wise and wonderful Kool-Aid Man, "OH YEAH!"
Muris you're killing me (in a good way) AWESOME!!
Fantastic. Your skills never cease to amaze me.
Ive been checking out different "exotic" scale types recently to spice my playing up but this is simply amazing how you get a fresh and cool sounding extreme solo with the good ol' pentatonic scale even with some rock cliché... Hey man!
Oh Muris that's great
I am speechless.
Such an inspiration. Some nights when I listen to your lessons and then go to bed, its beautiful compositions liek this that echo in my dreams late at night. Just wonderful.
I love all your Advanced Lessons
what a killer lesson bro
Fantastic lesson Muris. I really love how you use Hybrid picking in many of your solos. Really inspiring!
Wow, not fair. You are astonishing Muris. Screw Steve Vai - Muris is where it's at!
Incredible! I am SO taking this!
Amazing lesson ! and the slide run at 00:12 is soooooo cool
Yes!! Your'e the man!
Why can't I squeeze this out of the pentatonic scale Thnx Muris great stuff as always
Muris! this is amazing!
Awesome stuff Muris!!
Amazing lesson, wonderful. Nevertheless, I doubt that I'll ever be able to play it like you Muris, unfortunately.
This was truly breathtaking lesson Muris !!! Well done!!
Raw power man, awesome lesson
My mind was just blown
Amazing lesson Muris.
You rock Muris, great licks:)
Wonderful, you never stop amazing me.
I like this one !
Wow,thanks for amazing replies guys!
Must admit I had small issues to get interesting
licks and chops from pentatonic scale only.
Amazing, Muris! Especially the tapping licks at the end!
Killer lesson as usual! Well done Muris
nice chops Muris.fantastic
Awesome Muris! I love Shred Pentatonic Licks! I'll learn this lesson.
Great phrasing, and amazing technique!
Wow.... incredible! I think all the instructors here should have a competition on doing this lesson and upload a videoclip! That would be cool!
I vote for Muris already!
wow, that was catchy
WOW! Muris, those were the coolest pentatonic ever!!! I will definitely get some value out of this one!
Awesome Muris, loved tapping at the ends
As always,the best possible performance.Thanks.
i cant believe you only have four fingers on your left hand, terrific, but a bit beyond me at the moment
what an awesome lesson, great Muris
Great as always!
I am trying to imagine how it would sound without distortion, for example with "Pat Metheny delay" preset in GuitarRig. I see you are a great picker so it would sound clean even with clean sound. Maybe you could post some lesson playing fusion but with fusion tone a la Gambale or Metheny.
Wow, Amazing Muris.
I thought it was impossible with pentatonics stuff.
Sick... .. . .. ... .. . .. ... I am speachless...
Man I gotta tell you that you and Zack kick the pentatonic into the upper regions and it is beyond myself at this time.
Gotta tell ya it's pretty cool to get that sound......
That was very kind,Zakk owns,cheers.
wow!! WOW!! just..WOW WOW WOW!!
Once I get to this level (in about 400-500 years I hope ), I'll learn this lesson.
It's not about years Nazgul,it's about hours.
Few hours per day practicing and everything is possible,
sooner or later.
Powerful lesson Muris!! Sure I will rip off some licks from you! Keep on, I need other licks lessons from you!
Awesome shredding lesson Muris!
Amazing lesson mate
fantastic Muris !!
I'm so going to steal the Idea of video no 3!! Chinese-ish and I love it!
Stealing is a felony but nonetheless,be my guest!
Erm, I can't possibly explain how annoying Andrews talking head is Muris...I know I'll catch flack for saying that, but I know I'm not the only one who thinks so.
every lesson you make is totally awsome!!.you will keep me busy for years....i wish i could practise all day! Rock on Muris!
fatb0t,if that's the case than you can
forward to playing part straight away,
no need to listen or watch to Andrew.
WOW! Muris that sliding lick is incredible!! ive been adapting it on other pentatonic keys and positions! it sounds so cool! thanks!! :0 :0
Yeah, you can adapt it into every key AND scale, rock on.
The final taping section is fantastic..great job
Appreciate it, welcome to GMC tho!
that final tapping section is so hard to get to full speed....will i ever be able to reach it...im nearly 46 yrs old by the way, and fairly new to shredding! if id of tried this sort of stuff when i was younger,it might have been a bit easier...
With enough practicing you WILL reach it.
Fantastic - so much creativity compressed into so little time! This exercise alone has expanded my pentatonic 'vocabulary' significantly. Thank you!
On a side note: there's a c# in the transcription of the tapping part (on the site and in the gp5 file); in the video you play a 'd'. Just wanted to let you know so some players don't get confused about the scale since c# isn't a part of b pentatonic.
Thanks C-Rock, glad you liked the lesson
and thanks for input on this C# note as well, fixed.
Your left hand looks like a spider when you're playing, Muris ! You rock ! \../
Spider it is.
This is a very cool lesson style , more plz
