  • Hello GMC and welcome to my second video. Today we are going to look at some heavy riffing and soloing. One of my biggest influences are Symphony X. So there is no point hiding it in my lessons. :)

    The main riff itself is good for warming up. It helps you get your hands in sync. You know that you're playing it right when you feel that it's tight and feels "smooth". The main two scales that I use in the lesson is the E-minor and Phrygian Major scales.

    Tempo/time signature: 130BPM - 4/4.
