Thanks for all the comments. As i said before. I use the standard preset L6 Agro (3:D) on the pod XT. For VST i use DFH and then a mix of keyboards.

For this riff in particular i got the idea from a symphony x song where Romeo uses an open string first and then connecting the other notes with hammerons. So i just applied the technique with my own favorite notes to play. But yeah, i'll go through that sometime

This is awesome Harris, maybe you could go into some detail about how you construct your rhythm riffs it would help alot of people including myself.
I have too much tendency to fall back on my typical 80's riff ideas and would love to be able to construct more complex rhythms
