  • Hello GMC:ers! In today's lesson I will show you some funk stuff. The challenge here is to create something which sounds funk and cool - I hope! - using only one note at time. No complicated chords are needed!

    Some tips:

    - relax your picking hand as much as possible
    - try to experiment with different pressures for your palm muting
to reach the sound you like better
    - use a clean sound with few effects

This is the setting I used with the Pandora PX4D:

    Dyna: Comp 3.7
    Amp: AC30TB - Gain 6.0 - Bass 5.0 - Treble 6.3 - Middle 6.7
    Cab: 2x12VOX - Value 0.0
    Rev: DryAir - Value 3.3
    NR: Value 3.0

    Time signature: 4/4
    Tempo: 100
