FINGER YOGA!
Let’s do our usual Finger Yoga stretches. Here is a link to the video for references.

WARMING UP WITH ECONOMIC PICKING

Let's employ our "TRIPEGGIO" to warm up with. TAKE NOTE OF THE PICKING PATTERN IN THE TABLATURE. Two Down Strokes and a Hammer On/Pull Off to complete.

ECONOMIC PICKING

• Let's work on our "Economic Picking" a bit today. This is about using two strokes of similar type in sequence. In this case, two DOWN STROKES to start the bit off.
• To keep it from being too easy/boring, there is a bit of a STREEEEEETTTTCCHH! :)

Let's
-March it up and down the neck (All the way to the first fret, EARN IT!)

VS DOUBLE PICKING

Let's "Double Pick" this same shape. Pick twice per note. Let's ALTERNATE PICK this and notice how it feels different.

Let's
-March it up and down the neck (All the way to the first fret, EARN IT!)

Let's "Quad Pick" this same shape. Pick four times per note. Let's ALTERNATE PICK this.

Let's
-March it up and down the neck (All the way to the first fret, EARN IT!)

TURNING UP THE WICK A BIT (AND ADDING INVERSIONS FOR FUN)

Let's try a shape that has TWO ECONOMIC bits in it. One bit with TWO DOWNSTROKES and another bit with TWO UPSTROKES. You should be comfy with Economic picking for Down and Upstrokes. And for added fun, let's toss in some of our INVERSION work from last time. Here goes!

Let's
-March it up and down the neck (All the way to the first fret, EARN IT!)

CRAZY TOWN: DOUBLE PICKING WITH INVERSIONS

Let's try this shape DOUBLE PICKED (Pick twice per note) using ALTERNATE PICKING.

CONGRATS! You made it to the end without your arm falling off or your hand catching fire! YOU RAWK!
