Jason is a legend! Sick stuff...I always enjoyed this by Jason, Paganini's 5th which was also borrowed in pieces by Vai in the movie Crossroads at the end Definitely something challenging. I hope some day to see an instructor pull a lesson off of this, I only wish I has these chops to do so myself!!! God Bless Jason, a legend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYauTCAbvh8 |

How's your arm Henry? thx for asking, they have me in a frankenstein not to mention the beard I've grown cause I can't shave comfortably. I did see some young vandals spray painted around my area that gave me hope. I'm a Journey fan so this sign made me feel better I will not stop believing that I will be 100% soon 'hopefully' Sorry Ivan for chatting in your post, can I play on this? |

Congrats on that Muris!! I have to agree with you, that has always been my goal ahead of the fame and fortune. These things would be nice but I just want to pay my bills doing what I enjoy most. I was only lucky to be able to do that for a few years and now I am a slave to the system.... 9-5 |

Thanks for the input everyone rok - we are trying to get over to Ireland also this next year. maybe we'll end up there at the same time for drinks you trying to cover up something on the guitar with your arm? Yes a while back mods removed a thread of mine for posting my screen saver in the thread "what's on your screen" the pic covered is similar kjutte - I've learned that some people are just miserable people. I won't mention any names Looks awesome, Henry. And it's so cool that they pulled the name of an actual player rather than a non-player. I hope you gave them a good earful of your cool licks. WAAF the radio station hosting it brought in a Metallica cover band to play the grand opening. When I won she called me out and asked if I could play smoke on the water. I plugged this site and spoke about the SOTW comp. & then took the stage and ripped some Metallica leads with them!! The band was pretty decent |

your mother would be proud of you. I always think of you as German when I see your name, then I thought "wow, they do stuff in Germany as dopey as we do here". Then I see it is just the name, then I forget, and think you are Deutsch the next time I see your name. I am confused, is this a jab at me? |

Hey guys and girls..... how many mods just clicked this immediately? something cool happened to me that I wanted to share. A few days back I won myself a guitar. It by no means is an outstanding one but it is unique. I was at a local Newbury Comics for a grand opening and a radio DJ Mistress Carrie pulled my name out of her hat. I now own a Girls Gone Wild guitar made by Schecter. I couldn't find much about it online though..... anybody ever see one of these? |

I feel the same way as you. I run a Marshall for dirty and an almost all original 65 fender twin for clean. I still swear at times my modeling stuff on the comp comes off sounding better. Playing around with different individual effects pedals has helped cure some of this for me in the past.... I think some of it is just in my head Daniel has also made some great points, sit at a local guitar shop for a few hours and run a few diff. amps. Trial and error |

I spent a lot of time learning this lesson. The one part I could never get to speed was the lightning alt picking part. I can run through it about 15bpm under par. Alt picking is not one of my strong points Muris is the master & his version of Canon is a great lesson |

Hey GMCer's I have been a bit distant and unfortunately may be even more distant. Unfortunately, I have not run off with Jessica Biel & Scarlett Johansson Come on...you can't blame me for having dreams!! Three doctors agree that I most likely will need surgery on my arm soon. I have a check up in 1 1/2 weeks and if things are not better I will go forward with this. I just wanted to make sure all of you know I am not neglecting answering your messages. I hope to recover quickly so I can continue to learn at GMC and also provide lessons for all of you. This will be a hard time for me and will also be my last post until then. I will miss all of you and hope to rejoin our family soon after recovery. Hopefully I'll see you all soon |

found it boring. I also found this boring, John can def. play but I don't think this was his best performance My pick would be David Gilmour on the track "Dogs" I am sure not many would agree but that's my fav. .........different strokes for different folks this was the only track of Animals that Gilmour was credited on dogs_solo.mp3 ( 1.08MB ) Number of downloads: 236 |
