  Personally I find the amount of treble is also crucial for nailing these - once you have got the technique down.

  Hi Chris, thanks for the lesson. I hope it will help me with my harmonics. If I had a pound/dollar for every time I accidentally chipped one out I'd be a wealthy man : D I do understand the principle of pinch harmonics, and find them relatively easy to do from a complete stop. My problem has always been, just trying to casually throw one in during mid play. Hopefully this lesson will move me (if just a litlle) nearer to where id like to be with this. Thanks again : )

The "Pinch Harmonics" lesson is inspired by the classic rock sounds of ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. We will be utilizing pinch harmonics in conjunction with bluesy pentatonic licks. The tone is thick and trebly. Typically this style will be played on the bridge pickup with a good amount of sustain.
