  • Hi guys and gals! Welcome to the rhythm part of my 'Skip this etude!' lesson.

    Now, this one is about using various passages in riffing. The rhythm part of this etude uses combinations of classic riffing with scale passages and Bach-like string-skipping sequences, so it is helpful if you are a fan of progressive metal and would like to learn some basic ideas on how to implement this style into your riffing and use it for what ever you like... Use a metronome.

    Tuning: EBGDAE;

    Tempo: 100 BPM;

    Key: F# minor;

    Time signature: 4/4
