  • Hello GMC!

    Welcome to my new lesson!
This is an old song of mine called "Troublemaker". I always liked this classic rock riff and thought it would be a cool lesson to work on!

You will learn how to play riff based on E minor pentatonic combined with some chords! I used a lot of muted notes and the reason is that it gave song a lot of movements. It is a very cool technique to use when you have to fill in the gaps especially if it is a three piece band.

    Key signature and tuning:
    E minor blues
    Standard tuning E-A-D-G-B-E

    Gear:
    Tom Anderson Telecaster
    Ugly Amps - Ugly 18
    ZMG - Aspid Drive
    Waves plugins
    Apogee ensemble

When you are working on this lesson watch out for your timing.
Right hand does the most parts and you have to be dead on with the drums.

I hope you guys will enjoy this lesson and will learn a lot about ghost notes and string muting!
