Task 30: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Stop-Time-Blues-Solo/
Onwards with Da Blues !! This one is fairly challenging a it's got some medium speed / quick licks that you have to fit into the empty spaces left by the backing track. However, the timing of the phrases is pretty simple to follow as they stick mostly with the beat. Watch out for all of the subtle bends, like the semi tone bends at the end of a phrase.. these are essential to bluesy phrasing ! You should enjoy this one as it's quite upbeat and groovy !! Right, time to get warmed up.. this icy wind at The Temple really chills you to the bone doesn't it ? Deadline is 24th August or I make you do next challenge standing on head !! |

Bonsoir,
here is my attempt on this lesson. It's not as good as it should yet, but I'm hungry There is a flat bend 0:14, and some notes don't sound good. But it's overall a correct I think. I have time for REC program now, that would be great. Bonne soirée. http://soundcloud.com/grindguer/stop-time-blues-solo -------------------- Million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.

Hi Ben - Another fun lesson to be part of here. The more I got into this the more I enjoyed it (got to love bending a note!) In fact I think my bending is getting better amost in pitch ha almost.
I've been distracted working on my alternate picking lately so I havn't been thinking blues. Ben I'm still working on a couple of your lessons from a few weeks back the hand synch with that change in time and also that open string solo. some great stuff in there but a bit tricky alot of technique in there, Can't come close to full speed. Hi Grind you havn't lost anything in your playing being away. Sounds good mate. http://soundcloud.com/zoomify/stop-time-blues-solo I bummed the chord at the end |

It's good to have you back again Yes, you are right - your bends are getting more accurate and more confident overall. Let's keep that up and make sure the improvements keep happ'nin' !! Ok that's really good to hear.. if you need any help with those lessons let me know. As for the chord at the end, let's just say it was the 'jazz version' yeah ? |
