Video chat review Wednesday August 22 2012
I was showing pieces of classical compositions that I have turned into exercises! Those are very good if you are trying to develop a good picking technique!!! Video chat review September 12 2012
We were talking about use of effect pedals Here is the track I came up with: Video_chat.mp3 ( 467.67K ) Number of downloads: 109 - Drums For the drums I used EZ drummer and added compressor to it ( I used API built in drum preset but you can use any type of compressor) - Bass For the Bass I used a built in sound and I played it on the keyboard ( I added a compressor and EQ) - Organ was a standard Logic edition B3 - Rhythm guitar I recorded bypass signal and used Guitar Rig 4 to create a sound also added some EQ - Solo For the solo guitar I added some overdrive, EQ and Noise Gate Let me know if you have any questions! -------------------- |

Lesson notes from November 18th
We were talking about combining arpeggios in style of Joe Pass Here is the tab for all 7 triads from G major scale G - Ami - Bmi - C - D - E mi - F#dim E |----------------------------------------------------| Here is a Guitar pro file with a few licks Joe_pass_style.gp5 ( 2.3K ) Number of downloads: 93 Also we were talking about extensions 9 - 11 - 13 The easiest way to find extension is to use next chord technique say we have a G major 7 chord and need to find all 3 extensions take the next chord to it (one step up A mi) and you will get all 3 extensions G - B - D - F# - A - C - E Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything! -------------------- |

Hi guys in the last video chat I was showing you stretching exercises it is very important to stretch and warm up every time before playing I had a hand injury a few years ago because I wasn't taking it seriously and it took a long time to fully recover so be very careful!
