Three options:
1) Accept defeat - that's no fun... 2) Take it to a luthier - still no fun, but it will get the job done. 3) Attempt the repair yourself! Here's a great resource: http://www.stewmac.com/How-To/Trade_Secret...en_peghead.html This example is obviously a bit extreme but the concept would be the same. You would want to glue and then clamp, followed by some cleanup/touch-up to make the seam as invisible as possible. |

Pretty much nailed it there CHRIS S!!!
Sad to hear Always sad to me to see an instrument like that. Some folks get broken up watching forests get stripped or something, but seeing broken guitars always makes me kind sad. Poor thing has nothing left to say. Maybe pull her for parts and bury the body with dignity in the back yard. Very sorry for your loss Todd Three options: 1) Accept defeat - that's no fun... 2) Take it to a luthier - still no fun, but it will get the job done. 3) Attempt the repair yourself! A luthier would split it more or even completely, dowel it, glue it and clamp it. It would be as good as new after that. Even stronger actually. It's actually a really common break.

I would go with the horses - I mean, only if it comes down to that of course. Or heck, do it anyways. It's not every day you see a guitar ripped to shreds by horses. youtube it. -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!
