Hey my friend,
- For Rolling Stones lesson I used Mesa Boogie Mark III emulation, the name is something like "American Rhythm MKIII", or "American Crunch MKIII". There is a preset called "MKIII Edgy" or something like that, so you can start from there. If you lack overdrive on the amp itself, you can insert tubescreamer as boost (drive 0, volume 7, tone whatever). - There will be MTP program opened in month or two, but until then, if you want me to help you build your plan I will do it gladly. Just give me some background, and exactly what are your issues with playing. Ivan -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

There will probably be more lessons in the style of Gilmour and Edge, in fact, I can try to do one of Gilmours lessons in the near future.
Regarding your problem with not completing lessons, I think it's not that big of an issue. It only depends what your goals are. I rarely finished any guitar lesson book from beginning to the end - it was more taking from every book/lesson what I considered to be the most interesting for me. Choosing what is interesting from many lessons is a positive thing, since you are creating your unique blend of skills. Of course, I always recommend that you understand what you play in terms of scales and chords at least. You don't have to be a theory expert, but knowing basic music theory can really help you learn things faster. If you haven't learned any music theory, I suggest you spend some time on it, cause it will mean a lot. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Cheers! -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
