Hey Marcus! I hope your well!
I was curious if you could find the time down the road to do a lesson based on an intro to songwriting in the BG style. Nothing over the top, but more along the lines of.. choosing your progressions, finding melodies, ect. ect. I just am curious what your thinking about as you develop and tie together the parts of a song. I, myself am still very much a beginner, but I have a huge interest in creating some original tracks down the road, and I find myself hitting mental roadblock after mental roadblock. I apologize if someone else asked for anything similar elsewhere, I tried looking around before posting! If that's something you wouldn't have fun doing or anything I'd be just as happy for more rhythm/riffing/basics stuff that will help me to improve! -- While I have ya here, a few quick side questions! 1. Are you guys gonna play Guild Wars II, or sticking with WoW?! 2. Any advice for a beginner/intermediate level guitarist as far as how he should progress.. ie: should I just keep learning new songs, should I focus on learning a wide variety of scales, should I just do it all at once/ect. It's hard to imagine where I'll be at in a year from now as far as skill goes without seeing a road map ahead of me! 3. If you have the time! I'd be honored if you could check out my channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExiYOtf7lWM...eature=youtu.be . It shows a year of progress, more or less, and any feedback or -anything- you could offer in terms of advice would be amazing! Thanks if so!! -- PS: I was an artist on the Guitar Hero franchise! I pushed hard for you guys to get included, but no one listens to the lowly dregs working in the trenches! I'm sorry to have failed you all!!! PPS: Blind Guardian is pretty much WHY I want to learn to play and write music, You guys are a huge inspiration, and just knowing your even gonna read this is an honor! Don't ever stop rockin'! _\-\ |
