Where To Start?

Jan 5 2009, 10:55 AM	GMC:er Posts: 6 Joined: 5-January 09 From: Japan	I have some experience playing the guitar. I am mostly self taught and took lessons for a short time. I am having difficulty figuring out what I should learn next to better my playing. I can play all my major and minor chords and know how to play the C scale (in different positions). I have been mostly learning how to play songs I like (that aren't too difficult) using guitar pro and power tab. What lesson should I start off on and move on to afterwards? Most guitar players prefer solo to rhythm guitar. Whats your story on that? There is some good rhythm guitar lessons at GMC , you might want to check that out as well. If you like classical music and want to learn fingerstyle playing, check out Dejan's, Vinod's and Gerardo's lessons - they are all great and will teach you how to play without pick trough exercises, scales and pieces.
