WOW!!! NICE!!! Soldier this is really well fought!!! But I can't badge you unless you follow the ROE!! (Rules of Egagement) for COMBAT MISSIONS. Your picking is very clean and even but I need to hear it paired to a beat of some kind, like a metronome or drum track or something just to hear the notes time matched to a beat. Remember, you gotta learn to play like a robot, in order to SHRED LIKE A GOD!!!!

Hey Todd, sorry this took awhile just was in the middle of figuring out how to synch video and audio and use all my new equipment. So here is my first time using Reaper with my audio interface, put very little distortion in there as well.

VERY NICE!! This is not an easy lick to pull off and you are doing it quite well wink.gif Let's debrief!!!

Let's Debrief....

MEDAL OF HONOR

1.)Tight Hand Synch!
2.)Solid Techniques on all fronts, right hand, left hand, picking, muting, nice!
3.)Keeping Good right hand position, planted on the bridge.

You Sir have just ...

!!!!!!!LEVELED UP!!!!!!!!!!!

Keeping your picking steady and even is the real trick to a lick like this and you did a fine job of it smile.gif What is your current recording setup? I may be able to help you tweak things a bit? Are you using a metronome inside your daw? I typically use Guitar Rig Free for a free way to have a metronome that can live on a track in the daw. On another track you can use guitar rig free for guitar tone. Very handy smile.gif

Hey Todd thanks for the level up smile.gif Right now I'm going through amp, Shure SM57 mic into my Focusrite 2i2 then through Reaper. I am using the metronome in Reaper right now.

Are you using any distortion on your amp? It almost sound like the input level may be a bit hot to the focus rite as the distortion sounds a bit like clipping instead of guitar distortion tone. If you are playing clean tone, make sure it stays clean during recording if possible by watching the level meter. they should dip in to red now and then but not much. RAWK ON!!
