I have a pocket pod, and from what I read in this review and listening to many lessons that have been recorded using pandora, I would say that Pandora is probably better.
Main reason I say this is because it has loads of different backings with drums and bass, plus it allows you to record your own backing and play over it. That alone is a very intereting feature that makes practicing really fun. PocketPod is just emulation of amps/cabs/effects, but no backing tracks at all One good thing about pocket pod is that you can download tones from line6 site, but then again, not all of them, only the ones compatible with the device, but there are thousands... All in all, I believe Pandora to be better, if you care for the backings. -------------------- Guitars:

I don't have a Pandora Sammy but from what Muris says it sounds like it has a single stereo out. In that case the lead that you use should be stereo ones. A stereo one has a double ring on the jack (so two black rings on the jack and not the single one you see on a guitar jack). As Smells says it is pretty easy to get 1/4 inch to mini adaptors - just make sure you get a stereo one from the shop .

Hi Sammy.
Just check out my review on first page of this topic,I posted picture of cable I use. Stereo option as great if you wanna use effects, with mono cable you'll not get best results. As for adapter,I don't have original Korg adapter, just some regular adapter with that yellow "Sony" jack. I tried to explain this jack issue in review as well. -------------------- Youtube

Thanks for the fast reply. So the Stereo Klotz cable would be a good idea? I just asked it because when I look at the picture, the cable seems to be thin compared to the place where it should enter the PX4D. Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong 'hole' I thought it had to go in 'Output' but maybe I'm wrong and it should go where it says aux? I though that last one was only for headphone. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this topic Input jack is where you plug your guitar. Output is stereo jack, leads sound to amp,PC or whatever. And AUX jack is input only jack, for MP3 player,iPod etc. And yeah, stereo Klotz cable would be fine. -------------------- Youtube

You mean you can record something on the unit itself? And play it along with the backing? That's a great feature if so

That's a great feature if so Yeah, you can record about 30-40 secs of your playing on Pandora but that's not the point of AUX in jack I guess. Point is, you can plug MP3 player per example and jam along with it, using headphones or running it through mixer,PC amp or whatever. -------------------- Youtube
