Rock is not dead. It's just changing in ways that many of the older rock fans don't like. Not all of them of course but still enough to cause this question to be asked.

Most people in the US are into rap and hip hop. So rock is kinda dead over here with the younger crowd it seems. Though, metal heads do exist

Actually, I'm enjoying the fact that many rock bands from the 80's are making somewhat of a comeback lately.

I don't think Rock is dead, nowhere near!, Ok, there are many music styles, and different people listen to different styles, but rock has its fair share of classic and new band as well as old and new listeners alike.

Thank god! I wish we could have another 80s-age. Maybe we should pursue the government to fund rock recordlabels more...

If rock managed to live 40 or more years, I am sure it will live at least 40 more or will never die.
