Nihilist1 is right, jazz is great for being played by just you and your guitar. I also would recommend some of the simpler chord melody pieces, because you can start learning to add your own improvization into what you are playing if you start with something simple, and I would also recommend some of the pieces that are based upon a twelve bar blues, many can be played with just you and your guitar, if you don't mind playing rythm and lead at the same time.

I'm learning "Interstate Love Song" by Stone Temple Pilots for my next gig. That song sounds great solo on an acoustic. Only a few chords and stretches, but a nice mesh of sound to accompany the vocal lines.
