I have never listened to this music. It's interesting. The first two ones sound so unique to me while the third one really sound like Opeth. I searced for the third one at google but I can't find anything else (Do you have any other link?). Thanks for sharing this.

Particularly the I Spider album, as their first two albums with their original singer were actually jazz/blues. This link contains quite a bit of information on the album. http://dkandroughmix-forgottensongs.blogsp...pider-1970.html Here is a little bit of wikipedia knowledge: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Web_(band) Lastly, here is what the ProgArchives has to say about The Web: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3893 Here is some Yes from the earlier stages of their career when they had Steve Howe. During this phase, they were known for their 18-23 minutes anthems. Yes and Opeth set me down the path of finding all of the best Dark Progressive/Psychedelic music I could find some time ago. This album is definitely a treat, but if you dont want to hear the whole thing, at least give the first 18:43 a listen. The first 18:43 is the title track to the album. It also happens to be my favourite recording by the band. It really takes you through a unique soundscape that remains complicated, yet not so complicated that it becomes disinteresting for the average listener. Yes- Close to the Edge(Full Album): Yes- Soundchaser: -------------------- All the elders have fallen down...
Heal her now... All the elders have fallen down... Heal her now... Grandfather elk Turned to me And spoke: Light the fire deep inside. Light the fires! |

Thanks for all this info mate! I'm bookmarking everything. I used to play Yes first albums when I was obsessed with Dream Theater, and trying to understand their music, listening to their influences.
