I wanted to be a classical guitar player but i could never get my right hand to sync with my left hand....so i admire players who can do it....nice work!

The "Alegrias" belong to the "cantiñas" group. It is a "gaditan" style, precedent from Cadiz and the Bahia's ports. It first was born as dance music.
Its rhythmic structure is the same than the "soleá". It has a 3/4 meter but every idea consists of 12 bit so it's like a 12/4 meter. In every 4 measures system we have this accentuation: 3+3+2+2+2. The tonality in this style is always major.
This lesson has been composed as two lessons in one because we have the same idea played twice with variations. The first version is an easier arrangement and the second variation is a more difficult one. This is one of the most important aspects of this style because there are a lot of patterns and ideas that you can use to arrange a progression.
Key: E Major
Tempo: 145
Ok, here we go!
