  • Music in theory is one thing - PLAYING music is another.

This simple fact gets obvious the first time you play a scale up & down. Did it sound musical to you?

Many people are stuck just playing exercise-sounding licks in their scales, without having the necessary tools to create music.

Today we will address this issue, using the mother of all rock scales: the pentatonic scale.

I will explain exactly what methods I like to use to squeeze the juice out the 5 notes that make up the pentatonic scale.

    Let's go!

    Tonality: E Blues

    Gear:
FGN Illiad J-Standard Guitar (with Bareknuckle Country Boy pickups) > OCD FULLTONE > MXR DYNA COMP > MesaBoogie Mark V Clean channel TWEED voicing > Duet USB > Post processing in Logic Pro X
