  • Imagine you had a drummer living in your room - who you could call out at any time. You would be able to jam whenever you wanted, write songs all night long, and...

... but wait - you have already got a drummer close at hand - in your right hand!

That's right - today we will be adding percussive elements to our lines - and our right hand will act as drummer.

Personally, I have found that percussive playing ads a whole new dimension to my phrasing - and it makes a capella jamming so much more fun.

We will break down how the sound is produced and go through many cool example licks to get you rolling!

    Tonality: E minor / E Harmonic minor

    Gear:
Vintage Icon V6 (with Bareknuckle Apache pickups) > OCD FULLTONE > MXR DYNA COMP (set as slight boost) > MesaBoogie Mark V Clean channel FAT voicing > Duet USB > Post processing in Logic Pro X
