  • Hi GMC!

Playing over a simple chord progression can be a difficult ting, because since harmony is poor, all attention is upon guitar solo. One solution in such a cases is to improvise with rhythm phrases and to create certain feel by means of breaks and note lengths. Another solution is to place focus on different chord notes, and to try to change levels of tension by doing so. In this simple solo I tried to demonstrate both approaches. Harmony is A major, G major, and the solo is in the key of D major!

    Enjoy!
