  • Welcome to the Stoner for Strat lesson !

Idea of this lesson is to combine massive and powerfull, stoner groove with specific, "bottle" type of strat neck pickup tone. Harmonic content is blues and classic rock based. Main focus is to get familiar with wide palette of dynamics, articulation and some classic licks, commonly used in blues and rock. Of course it's possible to play this on guitar with humbucker pickups, but it won't deliver this exact type of flavor, as single coil. If you really want to play this, and you have humbucker loaded guitar, please contact me directly for adidtional help to set up matched tone. Good startting point is any kind of old Marshall simulation - often called plexi, super lead or 1959 in fx devices presets. Be carefull with gain amount. The more gain, the worse translation of hand dynamics.
