Delay Lesson - Saraceno Style

  • Hi GMC! This lesson is about Delay. I was inspired of the use of this particular delay listening to a Saraceno's song: A lighter shade of plaid. In this song he plays with a certain amount of delay that allows him to emulate like another guitar player is playing 16th notes in the upper beats. In the song I've mentioned he uses his volume knob or an expression pedal to swell the volume, I don't make that effect in this lesson but you can try it.

    The progression is:

    Part 1: Cm-Bb/D-Cm/Eb-Bb/F
    Part 2: Fsus2-Fm-Fsus2-Fm
    Part 3: Cm-Bb
    Part 4: Gm-Cm,Bb,Gm,Fm
    Part 5: Cm/Eb-Gsus4-Cm/Eb-Gsus4-G-Cm

    The delay is set about 200 milliseconds.
