Hi GMC and welcome to my series of Bb Minor Phrasing lessons!!

This time it's on advanced level - but don't be afraid,
I always put some easy licks even in advanced lessons.
Why I took Bb Minor? It is because it's not so often key/tonality and players usually get lost when jamming in it.

So let's explore it a bit and find out more
about Bb Minor scale and its boxes etc.
Tempo is 72 bpm.

Here's what Bb Minor Phrasing-Advanced Lesson contains:
-Bb Minor scale
-Alternate Picking
-Hybrid Picking
-Legato
-String Skipping
-Arpeggios etc.

Have fun and see you soon! :)

Alright Muris,

You are simply amazing, in tone, in phrasing, in ability. You never sound like you're just, "showing off." I really feel you are a "natural" player, nothing sounds forced or awkward. Thanks again for a wonderful lesson.

WOW!!!!!!! (picking jaw of floor). Simply amazing Muris! Effortless playing and amazing tone. A few questions if I may. 1. What makes this advanced? 2. I noticed something around your nut (black). Whats that?

Thanks,
Boris

Ive heard this scale alot in Russian guitar solos, I can't realy describe the feeling I get from this scale, but it's like sad and uplifting at the same time.

Muris this lesson is amazing. This is actually my first post here, the main reason I joined the site a few days ago is because I looked at a few of the lessons you had made (the alternate picking and the Paul Gilbert) and got so much out of them.
Thx!

Wow,thanks a lot guys,bunch of nice comments!!! smile.gif

The black thing near the nut is my homemade dumpener.
Actually it doesn't work posted that high,I can play open strings that way as the matter of fact.
Works fine when it's around 3rd fret or som.

your technique is flawless and your sense of phrasing is excellent. Your lesson packages you have put together on this site are really second to none anywhere either on the internet or in books/dvd's. You should consider putting together a lesson or DVD that explains in detail about how you arrived at your technique and what other intermediate guitarists can do to approach the instrument the way you have. Your picking & muting technique for example is very smooth and accurate, perhaps a lesson strictly on picking technique that goes into details would be nice.
