  Nice Lessson Muris:)-Quick Question, What do you recommend for the other 3 fingers postion on the picking hand while string skipping ( Middle,Ring and Picky)should you have a open grip with them hanging out more to have more freedom skipping through the strings or still stay in that standard closed fist?

  I prefer closed fist but you pick what makes you more comfortable.
  BTW,my ring finger is hanging out from time to time and I just don't know why,
  there's something wrong with it,I can tell you that!

  thanks for this lesson. the easier leesons didn't seem to help my pick problem so i decided to go to the top p.s. would like to see a video of you playing this as fast as you can ,because i never get tired of the feeling of my jaw hiting the floor .thanks for your help

Hello GMC crowd and welcome to my String Skipping Lesson! In this one we'll try to achieve accuracy and tightness while skipping strings, all with alternate picking.

And it's not only about moving vertical but horizontal as well. It's actually a good exercise for left hand control, you'll have to jump a bit here and there. :)

So,tempo is 150bpm, all 16th notes, key of Dm, D Dorian actually. The scale is D Dorian, no "out" notes, just straight one. I tried to get sort of Fusion sound in this lesson tho. :)
