I am tring to learn the beginer slayer lesson but i do not know how to tune 1/2 step down.i know how to do drop d tuneing

ctodd is right, his example is a e-flat tuning, the tuning that you were talking about. Many metal bands are using this tuning since it gives the guitars a bit of extra power, I am using this tuning myself since the late 80's

Tune as Chris said, all strings one fret lower so if its E than its Eb (or D#) and so on...1/2 (half) step down means everything one half step lower...Half step=one fret
