I can play the rythm of any song but the only thing i need to be better on is being good on solos and finger picking fast..How can i do better at that?? I have good strength on all of my fingers but doing solos is what is left to get me good..How can i improve?????? play play play and play some more my friend, jam with ur fav records, i see that u like kiss and ace, that's a perfect starting point! try detroit rock city, love gun, and my personal fav kiss solo (and one of my fav solos of all times) deuce!!! listen to the songs, try to mimic that, try try try and try a lot of times, you will get there eventually, i can guarantee it 100% if you dont have a good ear yet, download the guitar pro file for the song or maybe some regular tabs, but i don't recommend using tabs anyway, they don't let you train your ears. as a guitar player you can do anything, but not just yet -------------------- Check my Instructor Profile Rockers! You have to work on your improv skills by learning scales, patterns and lots of licks. Only way to get good at it is to practice jamming. It first your phrases won't sound great but you will improve over time. Its always a good idea to learn as many licks as you can, then you can incorporate them into your own leads playing...
Regarding technique, just use GMC search for terms like fingerpicking, alternate picking etc if you need help with any certain technique aspect... -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

try to create phrases which you hear in your mind over bactrack or over any progression, and then try to put them on the guitar. At first you will find it hard to do, even impossible, but little by little, you'll get used to it. I descovered in time that this is the secret of playing an instrument: to have the desired music in your mind and then play it on the instrument. Thats exactly the advice i would give, too. -------------------- Guitars: Schecter Stiletto Classic, Jackson SLSMG, Ibanez RG-380 Japan, Gibson Les Paul Studio
