I honestly relate to what you are saying. I think the history of a place definitely is in the air.
I particularly liked London as well, I think it's a city with so much to offer and it's sort a center of the world and that is appealing to me, I think it depends on what you are looking for, like for instance here in Bogota, life is quite different, there's so much good things as well, so the word is DIFFERENT, -------------------- Visit my:

I've yet to find a place in the world I really feel is home.
I thought Galway would be it, but not so much now after being here nearly 5 years I like the look of Brasilia, but only spent a short time there, so who knows. I used to think I'd like certain places in the US but I think for all the things I'd like there, there would be at least an equal amount of things I hated. Italy, for sure.
I agree with Mudbone, that historic feeling is something that can't be replaced. There's a certain vibe in Firenze or Roma, that I never felt anywhere else. |
