Hi Gab, whats the best way to play sequences like these "fast" (down- upstrokes in combination with hammer on and pull offs??)
It's from this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...entatonic-solo/ Thx Chris

Hi Chris,
there is not a best way, there are different ways and the results regarding "sound" or "feel" is different. If you want a more Gilbert/Wylde style sound, you should go for alternate picking. If you prefer a more fusion/kotzen sound combining picking with legato is the way to go. I think that the second option is easier but being able to play it in both ways gives you more sonic possibilities. -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate,
yeah, that's the tricky part of Alternate Picking. Please use the crossing strings lessons from my ITC, as well as the outsides and insides lessons, and share a video of you playing the exercises in a few days to let me check if there is anything to adjust regarding your movements. -------------------- My lessons

Hi Gab... here I am back for "intensive altenate picking work" as you have suggested in the email...
I wanna start from the beginning.... but where? To "relax" and to do something different I have started to practise this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/major-soloing-no-4th/ Chris |
