A tubeamp is not neccessary for home practicing, maybe not even the better choise.
Between the ones you mentioned and concidering your style, I think the Randall will be the best one. -------------------- My bands homepage

What would be a good amp for home practice then ? Maybe the RG is, the AVT50 aswell but I think Randall more for your style. I mean, don't go for a powerful tubeamp for homepractice and with that I was mostly refeering to the Marshall DSL -------------------- My bands homepage

At this moment the Randall rg75 G3 seems a pretty good one, and it has some pretty good reviews And it seems to be what I'm looking for How about the Randall TC, 50W maybe, if you're aiming for a band. The problem is that you don't want to carry a tube amp back and forth between your home and the rehearsal room. They can be sensitive to being moved. -------------------- My bands homepage

if you only want it for home it would be a god idea to get a POD XT and use your computer as an amp. I think it's a really good option

Well, Marshalls (both of them) don't have enough drive for that, and Laney, not too sure... I would say a Randall is a safe bet. It has a slightly synthetic drive channel but clean is superb, better than marshall. There's plenty of drive too, and 75W is a lto of power for gigs too.
