Metallica Playing The Beatles Cover

What do you think about their cover of the song "In My Life" by the Beatles?
As a big Beatles fan I must say that this cover didn't really speak to me. Feels to me it doesn't fit them very well also the vocals sound a bit forced to be in their style which sounds weird in a song like this. What do you think?



On the other hand here is a cool cover by Green Day of the John Lennon song - love how it sounds smile.gif

But yes the Green Day cover is cool.

A powerpop guy I like, Jason Falkner, released 2 Beatles instrumental albums and they are great. Highly recommended.
