i always get emotinal on the last episodes :C
great lesson man!
ahh it's so nice to see this one again!
Thank you so much Piotr..!!! :-D
Love your V-Odyssey, Ben! Beautiful and inspiring melodies and full of useful stuff for all!
Thanks Zicco. It's really because I wanted the focus of the lessons entirely on vibrato and the different ways of putting expression into notes, rather than the theoretical application of notes against certain chords as that would deserve a lesson on it's own I think.
Very cool vibrato lesson, too bad that you did not mention anything about what chords you use in the background. It is difficult to understand the relationship without them.
Zicco
Thanks again all of you, for your kind comments ! :-)
Great lesson on vibrato! And nice guitar!
I've logged only for posting that : This is so beautiful Ben ! C u !
wonderful lesson!
Thanks so much guys..!!!! :-D
pretty cool ben, super important topics!
the song kind off reminds me to the solo john frusciante music, very nice.
A lot of useful examples here
Very good and useful topic.
I like your lessons very much!
Thank you guys ! Yes, Kris.. that is definitely the essence of these lessons and the message I'm trying to give to guitar players. There's so many possibilities with vibrato and I'm still learning more myself ! :-)
Very useful lesson series!
Nice melodies and vibratos!
Love it Ben - to me this lesson shows the essence of vibrato version 2.0: Your goal should be to have a different kind of vibrato for each type of lick. This way you can create your own unique voice and convincing lyrical melodies...and not sound like a midi guitar.
That probably didn't make sense (I really do have an opponent within?!)
Hey GMC'ers! This is the final installment of my Vibrato Odyssey. This last lesson has a bit more variation than the previous parts because we're putting together everything that we've learned in one piece. We'll now combine: classical vibrato, circular vibrato, wide vibrato and string bending with vibrato.
Putting all these techniques together brings you closer to perfecting your own vibrato style. So the next time you find yourself soloing over a rock ballad, you'll never be short of expression.
Yes, I know.. it's very sad that it's the last one but fear not, as I shall be back with more challenging lessons for you to get your fingers around!
Cheers!/ Ben
