  • Hello GMC!

    In this lesson i'm trying to combine at best the styles of two of my favorite guitar players, Mr Billy Gibbons and Mr David Gilmour, both amazing and what they do.
    For the billy part i tried to sound dirty and bluesy and for the david part i tried to sound interesting and stratish, i think it sounds very cool!

    You need some chicken picking for this song, but it's super duper basic, this is a cool lesson where you can practice your picking: Chicken Picking Madness

    Have a ton of fun with this one guys!

    Key: A Blues

    Tone:

    * For the fuzzy first part i used the red fuzz from guitar rig 4, the hot plexi model and recabinet with a couple of 1960 cabs.
    * For the solo part i used the same config but without the fuzz pedal, and everything going into spring reverb.

    Tuning:
    *Drop C
    * E - A - D - G- B - E
    (From thick to thin)

    Techniques:
    * Chicken Picking
    * Wah Pedal

    Equipment:
    * Vintage Fender Stratocaster Guitar (dimarzio and stock vintage pickups)
    * Cry baby wah pedal (standard with fasel inductor)
    * Art Tube Pre Amp
    * Guitar Rig 4
    * Recabinet
    * Logic Pro
