Welcome to the "Hybrid Picking Classic Country" lesson. This lesson introduces a great hybrid picking technique, and while we will be using it in the context of classic country it applies to across the genres. I'm using a warm tone for this lesson. I'm playing on the neck pickup with a little bit of phaser to give a 70's sound and lots of spring reverb. For the hybrid picking I'm using a standard pick between the thumb and first finger and using my middle finger as the hybrid element.

Gear: Tele>Presonus>Waves GTR (compressor, phaser, sweet amp, spring reverb)
