The "Hybrid Picking Country Licks II" lesson is the second lesson to emphasize the picking technique with close-ups on the right hand. This technique is crucial to chicken picking and mastering the style of these licks. My tone for this lesson is a standard country sound using the Tele bridge pickup, a compressor, slapback delay, overdriven amp, and spring reverb. Each lick is performed in the key of G for this lesson. Many can easily be moved up/down the neck to transpose it to other keys (for open string pull-off licks a capo will allow easy movement of the key). Enjoy!
