Yay First comment..Amazing lesson I have been trying hard to learn how to get pinch harmonics ever since i saw that epic metal lesson of urs
Welcome to a new lesson! This time a full etude for Pinch Harmonics.
This cool technique is used in many styles, but as some of you may know, it´s a popular technique in every metal sub genre.
In this etude, I have abused of this technique to make this lesson very useful for members who wants to learn this awesome tool.
Basically, you have to use your thumb (right hand) to catch slightly the string after it is picked.
This could be an easy task for some people, and a really hard to learn to others. So, don´t give up if you can´t use it at first. It takes some time but with practice you´ll get it pretty soon surely.
I hope you like this lesson and feel free to ask whatever you need.
Used scales: E minor, A Pentatonic Minor, B Pentatonic MInor
Meter: 4/4 –
Guitar Tune: Down 1/2 step
TEMPO: 125 bpm
As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. you´ll find my presets on my board ;)
If you have any problems let me know.
Take care and see you all around.
