Hi thanks for your comments, I want to do some more, but unfortunately at the moment I have so many students, I have no time to do video editing.
I will try as soon as I can to do some more.
This is really great. You should try your hand at a mariachi lesson.
right now im practicing the classical section its a bit easier but flamenco is a definite goal soon im gonna nail this :-)
That was awesome and very fun to learn. I'd swear you were El Mariachi himself.
Do you have a guitar case with M16's in it and stuff?
damn this sounds so good.. but i need tabs
I'll have to have a listen
Very nice btw I wonder if the beginning is influenced by La Cathedral by Agustin Barrios Mangoré, cause it sounds very alike ^^
nice breathing
thanks
hi Al,
as yu see, everything comes in time,
for being honest, I don't get the rasquados part, since you didn't do a slow video for the part of the piece with rasquados. Indeed your video about the technics itself is good, but when I want to apply it and play the piece, the video 1 is to fast for getting it.
Thank you ang even though, good job!!
My videos must be good, nobody's asking me lots of questions.
Rumba is coming very soon.
Fandangos de huelva is coming soon as well as a Solea strictly rythm.
The Granaina is up and running.
A closet is no place for a guitar.
Very nice indeed !! and welcome to GMC. I have an old nylon string guitar in the closet, I need to get new strings but when I do I am learning this stuff for sure.
Great lesson, it's very difficult that partiular playing, so congratulations for your great work
very beutiful Al! btw... nice name
(Al's my name too )
I think Luciana is definitely more beautiful.
But thanks for the comment.
Very soon, I have just finished a Solea intro, hopefully it will be up shortly, ask Kristofer.
Al, Malaguena is my song man! gosh i'd love for u to make a lesson on it... theres so many different verisons that its funny...
Kris,
I don't know who/what is more beautiful. Luciana or this music. I have tears in my eyes (and not from too much garlic either).
g
you can play this piece easily without the capo, the tab is the same. Its just a very typical flamenco thing, where you have a brighter sound for the rasgueados. All the singers sing if different keys, so if you have the capo, you can keep the same open chords.
I will do a Malaguena very soon!
I have added a couple of backing rhythm tracks, you neeed to practise reeeeally slow before attempting to play with a rhythm track, but it gives you something to work with later, because timing is all important in Flamenco.
ah.... my heart is bleeding.. I wanted to learn flamenco so badly.. but yesterday, I cut my fingernails... rawr... btw. make more of your lessons plsss I love this still of music and I want to learn more of this:-P and then mix it with shred:-D ^^
Cool first lesson Al, well done!
hey good lesson but can i tune the guitar in f# instead of having a capo?
Great first lesson!I love how your strumming the strings and tapping the body near the end.Very nice
i don't have nails

this is just great!!
i never thought i would be able to learn this style of music.
Thank for this lesson!!
Only now noticed it but this is done with a capo on the 2nd fret. so for all those still havn't noticed it, get that capo
Welcome Al!! Excelent first lesson! I like this style!
gabriel.-
do u think u will ever make a lessen for la malengue
Rasgueado is a flamenco technique that I am not accustomed to. This will take quite some time to work up to tempo, at which it sounds astonishing.
This is wonderful Al!!
Great rasqueados, must try it at once!!
Awesome first lesson tho!
Wow this i swear, looks like teh hardest lesson on GMC IMO!! great job man!!
