Andrew Cockburn30th August 2008The idea is that you mute the higher strings with your left hand, the lower strings with your right hand, leaving only the string you are playing to actually sound - works fine even with bending.

this is a bood lesson,but i need a bit more explanation about bending with the other strings muted...how do you bend them?i can´t do it with my left hand and with my right i can´t mute te string next to the bend string without muting her too.
please help

when i bend the strings my fingers go under the strings and lift them,is my action to high? my strings are 4mm from the fretboard?

Welcome to the Bending Heaven! This will be a challenge to all those who like slow, tasty bending solos as this lesson has the most bending I've ever done in my playing and it's also mixed with other cool tricks.
You may find some similarity with style of Satriani, Timmons and players who play instrumental rock compositions mostly based on blues. This one will sure be a good practice for those who are just starting with bending. Have fun and i'll see you around! :)
