I'm so tired for my very bad quality videos with very old VGA webcam (Logitech Quickcam, like eyeball)
Now I'm curious to know about good and cheap possibilities to get much more better quality videos with very low budget.
I record my guitar audio with GT-10 and USB, so it's much more important to get good quality video than audio with camera, of course it's not bad extra if there's also good mic on camera.
What kind of videocameras you have my fellows? Tell about your camera, good and bad things for recording guitar playing.
Of course I can use the Google, but it's much more fun to hear about my fellow GMC'ers opinions about this.
Adrian has always been my favourite Iron Maiden guitarist, but of course I like all of those guys. I think it's very intresting to listen what he plays and it's also same time a little funny feeling.
I'm curious to know about music videos that make you feel something special. Happiness. sadness or at least something special.
I'll think that this could be very intresting topic.
Not just a typical, it's ok or awful song feelings.
It's also nice if you can tell some backgrounds, why you feel so about that video.
This is my first video with backgrounds. It's from 2005. This one is to sadness category.
This was is from one of my favourite bands in nineties, I saw them about 4-5 times on stage. It's Finnish metal band Sentenced.
This video is the last song from the last gig. It's also the last song from the last album. They also made this song last. It wasn't by chance that this song was the finale to Sentenced.
You can see how hard it's to singer. Very emotional moments. Some other thing which make this more sad, is the fact that lead guitarist Miika Tenkula passed away 2009 and solo in the end is possible his last known recorded guitar solos.
Lyrics:
Here we are, now lay the burden down We're coming to the end of our road Sorrowful yet glorious somehow To be humming this one last ode
So calm and still... it wasn't all that bad, or was it now? Fulfilled... it doesn't only hurt to end it now
The funeral
The memories beneath the dust of years They seem like those of someone deceased There's no more to be done, or hoped or feared Just waiting for the final release
So calm and thrilled... it wasn't all that bad, or was it now? Still, it doesn't only hurt to end it now
Is life over, this life's over? Or has it only just begun? It grows colder, starts to moulder... Coming apart yet still not done
I’m 38 years old so I’m not so young anymore, but now I’m very excited (again) to learn to play guitar. First time I started to play guitar about 20 years ago, but never truly focused enough to learn to play more than just some riff’s from Metallica, Iron Maiden, Hendrix and Nirvana. Now I’ll need a some new way to learn to play better than just a few riffs. I’ll hope to get some big steps to learn to play the guitar and total understanding about it with this website. Of course at least a little bit faster fingers is also nice extra for playing some nice solos.
My guitar is Jackson DX10D Dinky. One of my long time dream is someday to get Gibson Les Paul guitar, but maybe after some big improvements. If I’m going to start to play more and truly needed more guitars then it’s going to be LP
Happy new year 2014 to everyone here in GMC and let it be a very good year for all of us and let's play more guitar than last year!
