, so my wife says ' the dryer has been on this load for 3 hours and not drying them , so I start trouble shooting , notice it is not pushing air out of the exhaust and it looks wet , I take the vent off and there is wet lint mush , so I get my vent cleaning tool ( I have rentals , so I have some stuff ), and start pulling out balls of lint slush and eventually dead end , so I pull the dryer and start from the inside , same thing , all the time having no clue how that much moisture in the vent line , but , eventually hit a wall as well ,now , we have had so much rain as of late, sump pump kicking on once a minute, windy too . I go into the basement and take apart the vent pipe and 2 gallons of water pour out , I did have a tub cause it was dripping , but am shocked how 2 gallons of water got into a pipe that has been moisture free since 2008 , sure four hours of mi life I will never get back , but odder than that is it seems it always happens to my house , every one has I know has normal wear and tear stories ..
