I am looking to get out of the typical major, minor, diminished thing. I am not the most theory oriented player , but would like to get started playing some solid fusion rock. Are there certain modes that are most commonly used in fusion? Greg Howe seems to play all over the place and I am not sure how to break down where or what exactly is happening. Any bump in the right direction would be helpful.

Hey there, my name is John and I am from West Michigan USA. I was introduced to this site by Muris Varajic's Myspace page. I have been playing a while, but I am looking to expand my styles a bit. I look forward to all that I can learn from GMC. Right know I am mostly hard rock and some metal, but I really like the fusion stuff, so I will most likely start there.
